He made this statement on his Evergreen Podcast following Bukari’s transfer from Serbia, which he reported was valued at $7 million, purportedly setting a club transfer record.
Bukari inked a three-and-a-half-year contract to join Austin, with an option to extend for an additional year as a Designated Player. His Designated Player status implies that he will be among the highest-paid athletes at the club.
In his monologue, Susman emphasized that Austin’s acquisition of Bukari was a positive move for both the club and the league.

“Overall, this is a very exciting signing for Austin and Major League Soccer. Players like this make the league more fun and for Austin specifically, Sebastian Driussi, their current star is the biggest winner here,” Susman said.

“A player like this (Osman Bukari) can up that goal tally so much quicker and so much higher. I’m excited to see Bukari play for Austin,” he added
Bukari will link up with Austin after fulfilling his international duties for Ghana in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
