Adam Fox played college hockey for Harvard University before making his NHL debut. He was drafted by the Calgary Flames in the third round of the 2016 NHL Entry Draft but was later traded to the Carolina Hurricanes.

However, he did not sign with the Hurricanes and was eventually traded to the New York Rangers in April 2019. Fox made his NHL debut with the New York Rangers in the 2019-2020 season.

In his rookie season, Adam Fox was a finalist for the Calder Trophy, awarded to the NHL’s Rookie of the Year. He has continued to excel in subsequent seasons, contributing offensively while also demonstrating strong defensive play.

Fox won the James Norris Memorial Trophy as the NHL’s best defenseman in 2021, joining Bobby Orr as the only two players in NHL history to do so before their third NHL season.
