“We want to bring young players to Europe. In a serious way and already well trained. That’s why we’re also investing in the training ground here.”
Accra Lions, now owned by Matthaus, Acheampong, and Konig, want to capitalize on Ghana’s football potential and become a driving force in player development.
Accra Lions are set to make waves both domestically and internationally, thanks to Matthaus’ tremendous experience and the combined skills of the owning group.
Accra Lions are in their second season of the Ghana Premier League and have been playing some of the league’s greatest football.
Accra Lions who look set for a mid-table finish, currently occupy the ninth position on the Ghana Premier League table, nine points behind league leaders, Medeama Sporting Club
