On November 21, 1988, New Zealand’s All Blacks international rugby player Aaron Luke Smith was born. With more caps than any other scrum-half in New Zealand history, he is the scrum-half on the team.

In 2012, Smith was initially selected for the Mori All Blacks, and he participated for them in 2010.

The team that won the 2015 Rugby World Cup benefited greatly from his contributions. He plays for the Highlanders in Super Rugby, where he holds the club record for most appearances, in addition to Manawatu in the ITM Cup, where he plays for the latter team.

Smith broke Justin Marshall’s long-standing record for the most scrum-half appearances for New Zealand on November 17, 2018, during the 2018 season.
