Aaron Rai revealed that he started wearing two gloves when he was a kid and became comfortable wearing them.

In his own words, Aaron Rai explained:
“It started when I was eight years old,” he explains. “I just happened to be given these two gloves – the guy who actually makes them sent a pair over – and I got into the habit of wearing them.

“Then, a few weeks down the line, my dad forgot to put the two gloves in the bag so I had to play with one. It was terrible. I couldn’t play, I couldn’t feel the grip, so I’ve always stuck with the two gloves ever since.”
Aaron Rai is the winner of the 2018 Honma Hong Kong Open and the 2020 Aberdeen Standard Investments Scottish Open.
In 2014 and 2015, Aaron Rai played on the PGA EuroPro Tour and won the 2015 Glenfarclas Open after a playoff, finishing 5th in the Order of Merit. Aaron Rai won the 2018 Honma Hong Kong Open, the first event of the 2019 European Tour season.
