In 2004, Harper made a significant move by signing with the Úrvalsdeild karla club KR. His arrival came at a crucial juncture for KR, as they were facing a challenging first half of the season.

With Harper’s contributions, KR managed to secure seven victories in their last 11 games, securing a spot in the playoffs.

In the playoffs, KR faced a tough opponent in Snæfell. He played a pivotal role in a thrilling comeback, rallying the team from a 14-point deficit.
