Despite the NDC’s current support for the bill and calls for President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to approve it, A Plus anticipates a shift in their position once they are in government.

He expressed his doubt that the NDC, if in power, would follow through with signing the bill, suggesting that they might instead offer excuses or send it back to Parliament for further review.
A Plus emphasized his belief that President Akufo-Addo would not assent to the bill, regardless of the public pressure, highlighting the typical behavior of politicians to maneuver and deflect on such matters.
