During a recent appearance on UTV, A Plus expressed his discontent with Akufo-Addo’s presidency, labeling his election as a deception of the Ghanaian people. He admitted to being part of the group that portrayed Akufo-Addo as the ideal candidate in the 2016 elections.

A Plus addressed various topics during his lengthy commentary, including a viral video showing Akufo-Addo requesting some chiefs at a public event to stand and greet him.

In the brief 12-second clip, the president is seen approaching traditional leaders at what appears to be a funeral. However, instead of engaging in the customary exchange, Akufo-Addo and one of his bodyguards signal for some chiefs to rise before greeting them.

A Plus condemned Akufo-Addo’s behavior in the video, accusing him of becoming detached from the concerns of the people as his term progresses.

“He has completed his term and has deceived everyone. He begged for votes, and now he expects chiefs to stand and greet him.

He has become indifferent and disregards everyone, showing a lack of concern just months before the end of his tenure. He doesn’t care whether citizens have access to electricity or other necessities,” A Plus asserted.
