He has a twin brother, Ben, and a sister, Fay. He lived with his twin brother Ben and parents Vicky and Pete Murs until 2012, when he moved into a five-bedroom house of his own in Toot Hill, Essex.
Olly Murs gained prominence as a contestant on the sixth season of the reality TV show “The X Factor” in 2009. Following the show, Murs was signed to RCA Records and Sony Music in the United Kingdom, and Columbia Records in the United States.
