Alongside Harris English, Webb Simpson withdrew from the WM Phoenix Open in February 2022. They will be replaced in the field by Cameron Young and Hayden Buckley.

Webb Simpson did not provide a reason for his withdrawal but struggled with a neck injury in 2021.

In 2011, Simpson had his first two victories on the PGA Tour at the Wyndham Championship and at the Deutsche Bank Championship.

Webb Simpson was also a member of the United States victorious 2011 Presidents Cup, 2013 Presidents Cup and 2019 Presidents Cup teams.

Webb Simpson won his first PGA Tour title at the Wyndham Championship in Greensboro, North Carolina on August 21, 2011.

In November, Webb Simpson represented the United States at the 2011 Presidents Cup in Australia, for the first time in his career.

Webb Simpson won the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open in Las Vegas in October 2013, making it Simpson’s first victory since his U.S. Open win and the fourth PGA Tour win of his career.

In June 2020, Webb Simpson won the RBC Heritage at Harbour Town Golf Links in Hilton Head, South Carolina.
