David Haye threw punches at Derek Chisora whilst holding a bottle in one hand. Haye later admitted to punching fellow British boxer Dereck Chisora while holding a glass bottle during their brawl in Munich on 19 February 2013.

David Haye competed between 2002 and 2018. David Haye turned professional in December 2002 at the age of 22.

David Haye fought in the heavyweight division at the 2001 World Championships in Belfast where he defeated Sebastian Köber to reach the final.

In November 2012, David Haye took part in the twelfth series of I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!, in which he finished third.

David Haye was ranked by BoxRec as the world’s No.1 cruiserweight from 2005 to 2007 and was also ranked among the ten best in 2003 and 2004.

In 2008, David Haye moved up to heavyweight, winning the WBA title in 2009 after defeating Nikolai Valuev. As of September 2021, BoxRec ranks Haye as the 12th greatest British fighter of all time.
