Frank Fritz a co-host of “American Pickers” since 2010, was hospitalised after suffering a stroke, according to his former co-star Mike Wolfe.

Wolfe shared the news with fans on Instagram on Thursday, July 21 along with a photo of the 56-year-old Fritz in happier times.
“I have been very private in regards to Frank’s life and the journey he’s been on in the last year,” Wolfe, 58, wrote.

Wolfe asked fans to keep Fritz “in your hearts and thoughts” as he revealed his former co-star is now being watched over by medical professionals.

Fritz’s final “American Pickers” episode aired in March 2020. When the show resumed filming after COVID-19 restrictions were lifted, he did not return.
Fritz announced his departure from the show in June 2021 due to a variety of health issues, including back surgery and Crohn’s Disease.
According to some reports, Fritz was fired from the hit History Channel show after a nearly two-year hiatus to recover from back surgery, which resulted in 185 stitches and two rods in his spine.
