The honorable member for Ningo Prampram in Ghana has become an outstanding member of Parliament to ensure that LGBTQ+ criminal law is passed to prevent it from being legalized.
Part of the LGBTQ+ criminal law excerpts was leaked on social media and it has received mixed reactions. Sam George on Twitter revealed that he has received many attacks for leading the campaign.
I have seen the attacks from a few goons aligned to a political inclination based on my leadership on the PMB against LGBTQI+ in Ghana. Bow your heads in shame. Nothing would stand in our way to get this Bill passed by the House. Take your perversion and let me speak my truth! 馃

According to Sam George, his account was reported to Twitter by LGBTQ+ advocates. However, Twitter has sent him a message that his account was reported on grounds that do not go against their community standard.

The proposed LGBTQ+ Bill seeks to criminalize anything LGBTQ+ including advocacy. No section of the bill protects the members of the LGBTQ+ community from the physical abuse meted to them by persons who oppose their stand.
