Actor and pastor Yul Edochie has recently sparked a debate online by encouraging his fans to spend their savings before it’s too late.

Known for his straightforward nature, Yul shared his thoughts on Instagram, where he urged his followers to enjoy their money now rather than hoarding it.

In a video post, Yul, speaking in pidgin English, advised his fans to “chop their money” and also give to those in need. He highlighted that if they don’t spend their savings, someone else will do so after their death. This statement quickly gained attention, causing mixed reactions among his followers.
Yul Edochie, a prominent Nollywood actor, explained that life is not as serious as people often think. He emphasized that everyone is destined to die eventually. He stated, “We’re all going to die. It’s only a matter of time. It will happen to everyone.”

He continued, saying that people take life too seriously. He urged, “The money you are hiding, bring it out and enjoy it. Share some with others. If not, you will leave it behind when you die.”

In his words;

“Life is really not that serious. Na we just dey take am too serious.
“That money wey you dey hide, bring am out, chop am well well.
“Share some to other people. If not, you go still leave am die.”
