Veteran actress, Genevieve Nnaji, has finally congratulated former minister for finance, Mrs Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, on her new international appointment deal.

Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala was confirmed the director-general of the World Trade Organisation on Monday, February 15, which makes her the first woman and the first African to lead the global trade body.
Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala was handed over the position after her competitor, the trade minister of South Korea, Yoo Myung-Hee withdrew from the race. She had the support of WTO members including the European Union, China, Japan and Australia.

Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala will assume office on March 1, 2021, and will be in office until August 2025.
A lot of Africans and top-notch officials across the world have congratulated the former minister of finance for her win. Also Reacting to this, Genevieve Nnaji shared a photo she took with her and attached the caption, “Our only limit is your mind. Let it fly free”.
