Yemi Eberechi Alade, known professionally as Yemi Alade, has clocked 11 years in the music industry as she took to social media to celebrate herself.
The Nigerian Afropop singer, songwriter, and activist who recently revealed in a recent interview that she did not respond to emails sent to her by Beyonce for two months because she and her manager taught it was a scam until she discovered the company that sending the mail was Parkwood, which is owned by Beyonce, took to her official verified Instagram handle and shared a throwback photo of herself to mark the celebration.

Sharing the throwback photo with her over 13 million followers to celebrate her 11th year in the music industry, the 31-year-old songstress who won the Peak Talent Show in 2009 after which she signed to Effyzzie Music Group, and had a hit with her single “Johnny” in 2014 wrote;
“It has been 11 years on the grind with my #13MILLION STRONG IG FANMILY… ( #yemialademafia)…It’s all God”
