Even though PSG might want to loan out Simons again, many big clubs in Europe want him. Sky Germany says that Bayern Munich really wants him and would like to have an option to buy him in the loan agreement for about €60–€70 million.

But Simons talked about these rumors after the Netherlands tied with France 0-0 at Euro 2024. He said that he’s focused on playing for his country right now and will decide on his club future after the European Championship.

In 2022, Xavi Simons moved to PSV in the Netherlands, winning the KNVB Cup, Johan Cruyff Shield, and the Eredivisie top scorer award.
He returned to PSG in 2023 before being immediately loaned out to RB Leipzig. Simons made his debut for the Netherlands national team during the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
