Wolves have announced the acquisition of Portuguese under-21 international Rodrigo Gomes from SC Braga for a fee of £12.7 million.

Rodrigo Gomes has signed a five-year contract with Wolves with an additional one-year option in the club’s favor.
Wolves faced strong competition for Rodrigo Gomes’ signature, with Spanish powerhouse Atletico Madrid also showing interest in the young talent.

Last season, Rodrigo Gomes was loaned to Estoril, where he scored nine goals and providing eight assists across 36 appearances in all competitions.

This signing reflects Wolves’ commitment to strengthening their squad with promising young players and their confidence in Rodrigo Gomes’ potential to make a significant impact in the Premier League.
Prior to the signing of Rodrigo Gomes from Braga, Wolves has made Tommy Doyle’s loan deal permanent after his successive loan spell.
In the past few years, Wolves have been noted to be signing Portuguese players and this last signing is not an exception.
