Richard William Wheaton III is a writer and actor from the United States. Wheaton was born on July 29, 1972, in Burbank, California, to actress Debra “Debbie” Nordean and medical specialist Richard William Wheaton Jr.

Wheaton described his father as abusive to him as a child and an adult, and his mother as an enabler of that abuse. He also stated that his parents forced him to pursue a career as an actor.
