Among other enemies Hercules faces is his half-brother, Ares. He was known as the “Strongest Man in the World” and he lived up to this title many times.
Rivaling With The Gods: Although a half-god or demigod, his strength was equal or superior to several Gods allowing him to rival them in hand-to-hand combat.

Despite its age, Hercules: The Legendary Journeys is an entertaining adaptation of Greek lore, and if your teens do tune in, it might inspire in them an interest in the mythology on which it is based.
Why was Hercules: The Legendary Journeys Cancelled?
The show was canceled midway through the filming of the sixth season, and only a total of eight episodes were produced after Sorbo initially declined to renew a three-year extension contract to continue his role as Hercules.
