The Football Association (FA) has criticized Mitrovic’s dismissal as “obviously insufficient” and accused him of employing improper, abusive, insulting, and threatening language and/or behavior.

The FA has also charged Fulham with failing to guarantee that its players acted in an orderly manner, as well as Silva with a number of violations, including using abusive and/or insulting words and/or gestures and/or behavior towards the match referee and fourth official. The issue has received special scrutiny, and more disciplinary action may be taken.
