Mark Ronchetti was born on October 1, 1973, in Shelburne, Vermont in the United States. He has Italian roots but he is American.

Ronchetti attended Washington State University, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Meteorology.

He is credited by the American Meteorological Society. Until his departure at KRQE, a CBS-affiliated T.V station in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Ronchetti was a chief meteorologist. He first joined the station as a meteorologist in 2006.

His profession as a meteorologist stems from his childhood passion for the weather. He was fascinated with snow and mountains.
Ronchetti is married to Krysty Ronchetti. The pair has two daughters, Ava and Ella. They stay in Albuquerque, New Mexico with their dog.
In 2020, Ronchetti was the Republican nominee in the United States Senate election in New Mexico. On 21 October, this year, he tendered in his resignation as KRQE’s chief meteorologist. His reason for his resignation was that he is thinking of running for governor of New Mexico.
