American actress Eliza Patricia Dushku was born. Her most well-known role was in the paranormal drama series Buffy the Vampire Slayer and its spin-off, Angel, as Faith.

Casting agents first saw Dushku when she was ten years old. After a five-month search, she was selected for the starring part of Alice in the romantic drama film That Night (1992).
It was claimed in 2017 that Dushku’s production firm, along with IM Global Television, was adapting Glen Cook’s book series The Black Firm for television, with Dushku playing The Lady.
