Bill Goldberg’s NFL career was cut short after he “tore his lower abdomen off his pelvis.” He stated that he hoped to return to the league following his rehabilitation, but that he was not regarded as a major asset due to his lack of success.

For him, the NFL was a “mixed emotional experience” because he did not achieve the level of success on the pitch that he desired, despite achieving his goal of simply playing in the league.

Bill Goldberg was selected 301st overall by the Los Angeles Rams in the 11th round of the 1990 NFL Draft.

He began his NFL career with the Los Angeles Rams in 1990, then moved on to the Sacramento Gold Miners of the Canadian Football League in 1992 and the Atlanta Falcons from 1992 to 1994.

Bill Goldberg began powerlifting and mixed martial arts training during his post-NFL rehab when he was noticed by Lex Luger and Sting, who both convinced him to try professional wrestling.

Bill Goldberg is widely regarded as one of the most intense wrestlers of all time, and was one of the most popular figures of the professional wrestling boom in the late 1990s and early 2000s.
