Anne Wojcicki co-founded the company in 2006 alongside Linda Avey and Paul Cusenza. She is currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of the personal genomics company 23andMe.

23andMe is a pioneering direct-to-consumer DNA testing firm based in Sunnyvale that allows consumers to test for ancestry and health risks. The aim of the company was to provide the general public access to their genetic information.

Anne E. Wojcicki is an American entrepreneur who is also co-founder and board member of the Breakthrough Prize. She was previously a health care consultant at the San Francisco-based firm, Passport Capital as well as Investor AB.

Anne Wojcicki had also conducted molecular biology research at both the National Institutes of Health and the University of California, San Diego.
