Who Were Alicia Witt’s Parents Diane Pietro And Robert Witt?

American actress, singer, and pianist, Alicia Witt, who is best known for her roles in David Lynch’s 1984 film Dune and the zombie TV show Walking Dead, was born to parents Robert Witt, a science teacher and photographer, and Diane Witt, a junior high school reading teacher.

Robert and Diane were blessed to have parented a prodigy like Alicia, who began to speak at age 2 and was already reading by 4. At 7, she was a trained pianist and later went on to star in Dune, where she turned 8 while on set.

Robert and Diane lived in Worcester, Massachusetts, where their daughter Alicia was born.

A report surfaced today that Robert, 87, and Diane, 75, were been found dead in their Worcester residence without any clear cause of death.

Their death was confirmed by Witt in a statement late on Monday. 46-year old Alicia said that she sent a relative to check on her parents, as she had not heard back from them for several days.
