Cherise Makubale is the winner of the first episode of Big Brother Africa. She was a representative from Zambia who was able to beat off stiff competition to write her name in the history books of the reality show.

The Big Brother Africa show began on 25 May 2003 and ended on 7 September of the same year with Cherise Makubale being crowned the very first winner of the show. The show for the first episode lasted 106 days.
