Mark, who also did the voices for the little creatures in Gremlins, flew to Indiana for the fan event happening this weekend. He checked into his hotel room, and that’s where he had a big heart attack while sleeping, according to TMZ.

Mark got his first big Hollywood job in 1983 when he was chosen as the voice of Salacious Crumb in Return of the Jedi. The character was famous for having a high-pitched voice. A year later, he became the voice of Mogwai in Gremlins.

He came back to the Gremlins world in 1990 for Gremlins 2: The New Batch. He also worked on the 1985 horror movie Day of the Dead before being in Star Wars: The Force Awakens in 2015.
