Cindy Morgan, renowned for her iconic roles in the early 1980s films “Caddyshack” and “Tron,” has passed away at the age of 69.

The Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office informed the media that Morgan’s lifeless body was discovered at her residence in Lake Worth Beach, Florida, on December 30, following a call from her roommate. Returning home after the holidays, Morgan’s roommate knocked on her bedroom door with no response but detected a “foul odor” emanating from the room. Concerned, she promptly contacted the police, who launched an investigation.

The sheriff’s office’s public information office stated that no foul play is suspected, and Morgan is believed to have succumbed to natural causes before being found on December 30. The last confirmed sighting of Morgan alive was on December 19.

Cindy Morgan gained prominence with her breakout role as Lacey Underall in the 1980 sports comedy “Caddyshack,” sharing the screen with Chevy Chase, Bill Murray, Rodney Dangerfield, and Michael O’Keefe. Following the success of “Caddyshack,” she continued to captivate audiences in the 1982 sci-fi film “Tron,” portraying the characters Dr. Lora Baines and her alter ego Yori.
Born in Chicago in 1954, Cindy Morgan initially worked as a weather forecaster and DJ before embarking on her acting career. Throughout the ’80s and ’90s, she remained active in the entertainment industry, primarily taking on TV roles in productions like “Bring ‘Em Back Alive” and “Falcon Crest.”
