Ramsey launched a successful Hollywood career in character roles in the 1970s, appearing on shows including Little House on the Prairie, Wonder Woman, Three’s Company, and Ironside.
Ramsey’s somewhat slurred speech, which became a signature of her later performances, was due in part to having a piece of her tongue and jaw removed after esophageal cancer surgery in 1984.
She died on August 11 at the Motion Picture and Television Country House and Hospital in Woodland Hills.
