Skai Jackson, born on April 8, 2002, is a well-known American actress. In 2016, Time magazine recognized her as one of the “Most Influential Teens,” and in 2017, she was nominated for Best Influencer at the Shorty Awards.

Over the years, she lent her voice to characters in the Marvel Rising franchise (2018–2019) and the animated series DreamWorks Dragons: Rescue Riders (2019–2022). However, Skai Jackson has not voiced any characters in the Descendants movie series.

In 2023, Skai Jackson starred in the action film Sheroes. Besides acting, Jackson ventured into writing with her book Reach for the Skai: How to Inspire, Empower, and Clapback in 2019, and she was a semi-finalist in the 29th season of Dancing with the Stars in 2020.

Jackson’s acting journey started early. Her first significant role was in Liberty Kid (2007), and she later made a guest appearance in the TV show Rescue Me in 2008.
In 2011, Jackson landed the role of Zuri Ross in Jessie, which aired for four seasons until 2015. This role earned her an NAACP Image Award nomination.
She also played Joetta Watson in the Hallmark Channel’s movie The Watsons Go to Birmingham in 2013 and guest-starred in Disney XD’s Ultimate Spider-Man in 2014.
In 2018, Jackson appeared as Glory Grant in Marvel Rising: Initiation and reprised this role in Marvel Rising: Chasing Ghosts and Marvel Rising: Battle of the Bands.
