Media mogul Rupert Murdoch is currently engaged to fiancé Ann Lesley Smith.

Ann Lesley Smith is an American journalist and former prison chaplain, model, and singer-songwriter.

Smith worked as a model, a radio journalist and a singer-songwriter in San Francisco. She then hosted the radio show Ann Lesley Live on KFIV.

Smith subsequently served as a Christian minister for the Manteca Police Department and the Marin County Sheriff’s Office, before returning to journalism, working for Rupert Murdoch’s newspaper group.

Smith is the founder of Angels All Over non-profit organization that supports people experiencing homelessness.

The 92-year-old Rupert Murdoch and Ann Lesley Smith, 66, met at an event at his Moraga Estate, winery in Bel Air, California in September 2022.

He proposed to her with an Asscher-cut diamond solitaire during St. Patrick’s Day, on March 17, 2023, in New York City.

Rupert Murdoch and Ann Lesley Smith’s wedding will take place in late summer this year. “We’re both looking forward to spending the second half of our lives together,” Murdoch told the New York Post, one of his own publications.

Ann Lesley Smith was previously married to Chester Smith, a country singer and radio and TV executive, who died in 2008.

Murdoch was previously married to former flight attendant Patricia Booker, journalist Anna Murdoch, entrepreneur Wendi Deng and former model Jerry Hall. He has six children.
