Riley Leonard was born on September 13, 2002, in Mobile, Alabama, and played high school football at Fairhope high school in Alabama, where he recorded 1,900 passing yards, 25 touchdowns and 500 rushing yards as a high school senior.

After commiting to play at Duke University, Leonard played in seven games in his first year and recorded impressive statistics.

He recorded 2,967 yards, threw for 20 touchdowns and had only six interceptions, and 13 rushing touchdowns.

During his sophomore year, he was named the starting quarterback.

In 2022, Leonard won the Most Valuable Player (MVP) award at the Military Bowl.

Leonard’s current statistics shows a record of 3,348 passing yards, 872 rushing yards, 5.1 rushing average, 21 passing touchdowns and 15 rushing touchdowns.
