His entrepreneurial journey began with Viação Passaredo, a bus company he founded. Fueled by his success in transportation, Felício set his sights on the aviation industry.
In 1995, he launched Passaredo Transportes Aéreos, which would later become Voepass.
The airline started with a small fleet of aircraft, focusing on connecting regional cities across Brazil. Under Felício’s guidance, the airline saw considerable expansion in both its fleet and its routes.

Despite encountering financial difficulties along the way, Felício’s vision and leadership drove the company’s growth.
In 2002, he handed over the management of the airline to his son, José Luiz Felício Filho, but continued to play a crucial role in its development.
Felício’s contributions have left a lasting impact on Brazil’s regional aviation sector.
Even after his passing, Voepass remains a significant name in the industry, reflecting his enduring legacy.
