Joe Tacopina is an American criminal defence lawyer and managing partner of Tacopina & Seigel, a law firm based in New York City. He has represented a number of high-profile clients in criminal cases, including celebrities, athletes, and politicians.

Tacopina was born in Brooklyn, New York in 1966. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania and his law degree from the University of Bridgeport School of Law (now known as Quinnipiac University School of Law).
In addition to his work as a criminal defence attorney, Tacopina is also known for his appearances as a legal analyst on television news programs, including CNN and Fox News. He has been a frequent commentator on criminal justice issues and high-profile criminal cases.
