Amouranth grew up playing video games and watching anime, which inspired her to begin costume designing and cosplaying.
Her aunt taught her how to sew, and she made her first costume for a local Houston convention, which she won as Princess Zelda.
Amouranth studied Fashion Design and Theatrical Costume Design in college, and her professor recommended her to the Houston Grand Opera and Houston Ballet as a costume designer in 2010.
Twitch contacted Amouranth in 2016 and asked her to join their platform and Livestream making costumes.

Amouranth revealed on-stream on October 15, 2022, that she had been married for several years and that her husband had been abusive.
Alinity, Amouranth’s close friend and fellow streamer, informed her viewers that she called the police to conduct a welfare check on Amouranth following a concerning stream, and she claims they are unable to tell her if she is okay or not.
As of the time of publication, Amouranth has yet to issue a statement reassuring her fans and fellow streamers.
