He is most known in French for his sketches with Fred Testot on the Canal+ television program Service après-vente des émissions (2005–2012).
He became more well-known for his part in the 2011 comedy-drama movie Intouchables, for which he won the César Award for Best Actor, becoming the first African person to do so.
