In 2012, he soared to victory, securing the CIF Individual Sectional Championship with an impressive score of 6 under par.

Transitioning to UCLA, Knapp continued to excel, boasting a scoring average of 72.8 over 38 rounds and notching several top-10 finishes. His talent was further showcased on the national stage at the 2015 U.S. Open.

Upon concluding his collegiate journey, Knapp embarked on the path to professionalism.
