Chinese rocket debris is the shattered remains of a massive Chinese rocket that delivered a new module to the space station on Monday, July 25 2022.

According to US Space Command, which is tracking the rocket’s trajectory, the remnants are expected to fall to Earth early next week.
The Wentian laboratory module was successfully docked with China’s orbital outpost after the 23-ton Long March 5B rocket took off from Hainan Island at 2:22 p.m. local time Sunday, July 24. 2022.

The rocket body will eventually disintegrate as it plunges through the atmosphere, but it is large enough that numerous chunks will likely survive a fiery re-entry to rain debris over a 2,000km (1,240 miles) long by 70km (44 miles) wide area
This is the third time the country has been accused of failing to properly handle space debris from its rocket stage.
