On Tuesday’s edition of NBC’s “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” Leah Remini gave Ellen DeGeneres a gentle slap after the actress accused the daytime talk show host of feigning interest in her tale.

Remini, 51, discussed her and her husband Angelo Pagan’s attempts to terrify their 17-year-old daughter Sofia during her visit on the show. The “King of Queens” actress peered over each of her shoulders once halfway through her thorough description of her experience.
“I don’t know whether you’re doing that thing where you’re into my narrative,” Remini remarked, returning her gaze to the 63-year-old presenter and pointing a finger at her, adding, “I don’t know if you’re doing that thing where you’re into my story.”

“I’m always curious,” DeGeneres answered, appearing taken aback by the change in the conversation’s direction.
After that, Leah Remini screamed, “Ellen, you aren’t! Stop!”

Remini then got out of her seat, leaned over to the presenter, and repeatedly struck her arm.
The actress made it plain that the physical connection was friendly, telling the comic that she loved her and was “so pleased” to be back on the program for its 19th and final season.
