In the game Elden Ring, after defeating the Elden Beast, you are presented with a choice that will determine the ending of your journey. The Elden Beast is the final boss of the game, and its defeat signifies the end of your quest in the Lands Between.

Upon defeating the Elden Beast, you will be transported to a location where you can interact with the Fractured Marika. This interaction will not immediately end the game or thrust you into New Game Plus (NG+). Instead, it will present you with a choice of endings based on the quests you’ve completed and the items you’ve collected throughout your journey.

If you choose to summon Ranni, you will be locked into her ending. Alternatively, you can choose to touch the Fractured Marika and mend the Ring with the various side quest runes you’ve collected. Each choice leads to a different ending, adding depth and replayability to the game.

After making your choice and viewing the ending, you will have the option to start NG+. However, this is not mandatory, and you can choose to continue exploring the world, completing any remaining side quests, or simply enjoying the game at your own pace. If you decide to start NG+, you can do so from any Site of Grace.
Remember, the choice of when to face the Elden Beast, which ending to choose, and when to start NG+ is entirely up to you. Elden Ring offers a rich and immersive world full of mystery and adventure, and the journey is as important as the destination. So take your time, explore the Lands Between, and enjoy your adventure as the Tarnished.
