“We Owe You A Duty To Show You Love” – Governor Nyesom Wike To Burna Boy

Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike, has extended his appreciation to Burna Boy once again after his win at the Grammy Awards a few days ago.

According to him, no Rivers State citizen will pretend not to be happy for the musician because his win brought a lot of pride to the state. He added that he is very happy about this and is willing to do anything to support his brand.

Addressing the state during Burna Boy’s homecoming concert, he also mentioned that he has made the state proud hence, they owe him a duty to reciprocate his love.

He said;

“There is no Rivers person that will say he or she is not happy with the kind of pride you’ve brought us. I am very happy and I can tell you, whatever you think we can do to promote you, we will continue to do it. You’ve done us proud and we owe you a duty to show you love. Wherever you are, your people appreciate you”.
