On June 29, 2024, Hajia4Reall was sentenced to a year and a day in jail after being convicted in a case involving a romance fraud scheme that defrauded approximately $2 million from forty victims, primarily elderly men.
The trial, which began in 2022, culminated in a decision that her legal team views as favorable.
The government’s request for a sentence ranging from 37 to 46 months of incarceration was significantly reduced to a one-year sentence.

“After a 1.5-hour sentencing, U.S. v. Mona Montrage, 22 cr 617 (JPO) concludes. We are incredibly proud of the advocacy done on our client’s behalf and the result achieved,” the Fast Law Firm PLC shared.
Hajia4Reall is expected to release a statement on the matter soon, as her legal team continues to navigate the aftermath of the trial.
