Her bike was discovered in a gully near her mountain home in Salida, 140 miles south of Denver, on the day she went missing.
While investigating a separate case, investigators discovered her scattered remains 50 miles from her bike in Moffat, Saguache County.
She had been buried in a shallow grave, and her bones had dispersed over time.
According to the Colorado Bureau of Investigation, no arrests have been made since the remains were discovered on September 22. On September 27, her true identity was revealed.
