Renowned hair vendor Wanneka has firmly refuted recent claims suggesting she is one of Senate President Godswill Akpabio’s alleged side chics.

The accusations surfaced following a controversial statement by blogger Gistlover, which included Wanneka among several notable figures purportedly involved with Akpabio.
In response to the allegations, Wanneka took to social media, posting a now-deleted message addressing the rumors head-on. She vehemently denied any association with Akpabio, urging Gistlover to reassess their claims.
“I have no dealings with Godswill Akpabio,” Wanneka stated. “I suggest Gistlover conducts a more thorough investigation because these claims are baseless and incorrect.”

Wanneka further emphasized her personal integrity, highlighting her long-standing commitment to her marriage and her transparent financial record. “I have been a married woman for nearly my entire life, even before moving to Lagos, and I can account for every penny I earn,” she asserted.
The entrepreneur also expressed her frustration at the allegations, describing them as disrespectful not only to her but to all hardworking women. “I built my company from the ground up. These accusations undermine the efforts and achievements of diligent individuals,” she added.
