The days of Nollywood veteran actors begging for cash to survive is over as Joke Silva is partnering with the Actors Guild of Nigeria, AGN to care for the medical bills of veteran actors.
The delectable thespian is rolling out a comprehensive plan to institute an insurance scheme set to be in full force on Monday, August 17, that would cater to the needs of veteran actors. The plan is being carried out with Medicard, a reputable HMO as the primary caretakers.

In her own words, “With this AGN Health Insurance Scheme, registered members of the guild will have access to essential medical and health care services as the need arises. A fund to assist indigent actors pay regular premiums on their medical insurance will also be launched at the event.“
The AGN had no option but to resort to finding a way to relieve it’s members from the grips of public shame and embarrassment as they go around pleading for financial assistance.

The partnership with Medicard, a reputable HMO, would be a great remedy to the movie actors and actresses who would find themselves in a desperate position.
