Controversial activist Verydarkman has broken his silence after being released from police custody, where he was detained following his recent arrest.

Earlier reports indicated that the social commentator faced trouble with the police yet again.

After his release, Verydarkman took to his social media platform to recount the events leading to his arrest.

He stated that police officers had raided his home on Sunday, June 30 2024 over allegations of defamation against a man accused of scamming someone of their life savings.

While at the police station, Verydarkman said he provided a statement and evidence to support his claims.

He acknowledged the support of prominent lawyers and influential individuals who ensured he was granted bail swiftly and did not spend the night in a cell.

The development sparked various reactions online, with some questioning the timing of his bail on a Sunday and others expressing skepticism or amusement over the situation.
