Prophet Kofi Oduro, leader of Alabaster International Ministries, has expressed his disapproval of the ongoing debate comparing the value of a foreign passport to that of a PhD.

Speaking to his congregation, Prophet Oduro found it absurd that people argue over the importance of having a foreign passport versus obtaining a PhD, especially when others are focusing on groundbreaking innovations to improve the world.
He criticized the social media discussions on this topic, calling them “nonsense.”
He believes these debates are pointless, as they hold no significance after death and have no bearing on one’s spiritual salvation. “If someone has a Dutch passport, does that mean they no longer need education? This undermines the value of education,” he stated.
He emphasized that while people are researching artificial intelligence and other advanced fields, some are engaged in trivial discussions.

Prophet Oduro questioned the value of American or British passports, labeling them as mere vanity. He remarked that when singer Ebony passed away, her passport, filled with visas, was of no use.
Reflecting on his own experiences living abroad, he noted that while opportunities exist, they are not as easy to seize as they appear.
This debate began with Kofi Gabs, a Ghanaian cleaner living in the Netherlands, who argued that a Dutch passport is more valuable than a PhD from Ghana.
His statement, made after he obtained Dutch citizenship, has sparked widespread discussion online. Do you agree with Kofi Gabs, or has Prophet Oduro’s perspective changed your mind?
