However, Fury attributed his loss to the ongoing war in Ukraine, suggesting that judges favored Usyk due to the conflict.

In a post-fight interview, Fury expressed his belief that he had won the majority of rounds in the match but acknowledged Usyk’s victory. He remarked, “His country is at war, so people are siding with the country at war. Make no mistake, I won that fight in my opinion.”

Despite the defeat, Fury remained optimistic, referencing the rematch clause in their contract. He affirmed his intention to reclaim the title in the rematch scheduled for October. Fury stated, “We run it back in October. Well done Oleksandr.”

In contrast, Usyk attributed his victory to years of preparation and dedication. He revealed that he had been planning for this fight since 2008, emphasizing that his victory was not only for himself but also for his country, supporters, and Ukrainian soldiers. Usyk expressed his desire to return home, rest, and spend time with his loved ones.

The highly anticipated rematch between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk is set to take place on October 12th or 13th, with both fighters eager to settle the score in the ring.
