Biography

Tucker Carlson was born on May 16, 1969 in San Francisco, California, USA as Tucker Swanson McNear Carlson. He is a writer and producer, known for Turker Carlson Tonight  (2016), Swing (2008) and 30 Rock(2006). He has been married to Susan Andrew since 1991.They met while at prep school in Rhode Island. Susan was the headmaster’s daughter.   They have four children. Carlson grew up in Carlsbad, an affluent resort town north of San Diego. He is the elder son of Richard Warner Carlson, a former Los Angeles news anchor and U.S. ambassador to the Seychelles who was President of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting and director of Voice of America.

His adopted mother is Patricia Caroline Swanson (born 1945), former wife of Howard Feldman and an heiress to the Swanson food-conglomerate fortune. He has a brother, Buckley Swanson Peck Carlson. He attended a boarding school in Middletown, Rhode Island called St. George’s School. He majored in History at Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut after his graduation. He Began wearing his trademark bow ties in the ninth grade, he says (though he stopped wearing them in early 2006). Turker Began his journalism career in 1993 at Little Rock’s Arkansas Democrat-Gazette, where he was an editorial writer.

He Left CNN in the wake of a heated 2004 exchange with Jon Stewart on Crossfire, shortly before the longtime political shoutfest was canceled; surfaced on MSNBC in early 2005. Carlson Was a contestant on the reality show Dancing With the Stars in 2006. In 2009, became a senior fellow at the Cato Institute, a libertarian think tank in Washington, D.C. H is an avid Grateful Dead fan.

Turker Carlson and  SusanAndrews tied the knot in 1991 after he received permission from her dad. FOX News personality Tucker Carlson has been married to Susan Andrews for nearly three decades. Susan Andrews has known Tucker Carlson since they were teenagers. Her father once served as headmaster at St George’s private school in Rhode Island and Carlson asked for his permission to marry his daughter, according to Yahoo.

Gypsies

Tucker Carlson aired an inflammatory segment entitled “Gypsies: Coming to America,” about rising tensions between residents of California, Pennsylvania-a small borough near Pittsburgh —and a group of Roma who recently settled there. Carlson noted that about 40 “gypsies” are “seeking asylum, saying they suffered racism in their native Romania,” and they were placed in the town “by the federal government,” only to spurn local culture by engaging in “public defecation” and slaughtering chickens in view of residents. The programme was headed by Fox News.

Inheritance

Turker Carlson’s parents divorced 9 years after marriage and Dick Carlson (father of Turker Carlson) was granted custody of Tucker and his brother  Their mother McNear went on a separate path making it impossible for Tucker and his brother to ever see her again. Because he never saw his mum again he never considered her as part of his life. The FOX News host did sue for his mother’s money following her death. McNear only left her children $1 in her will, despite being worth a great deal more.  Despite the wealth and notoriety that comes with being a FOX News host, it is clear that Carlson’s mother’s abandonment and dollar inheritance have bothered him for years.
